  • Profile information you choose to provide
  • Listing content including photos and descriptions
  • Messages exchanged with other users
  • Transaction and payment data (processed by Stripe)
  • Device information and usage analytics

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Upfront marketplace
  • Process transactions and payments
  • Provide AI-powered equipment valuations
  • Communicate with you about your account and transactions
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety

4. Third-party services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the platform:

  • Stripe— payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy governs data they collect.
  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
  • Anthropic — AI-powered item identification and valuation (listing photos only).
  • Vercel — web application hosting.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

6. Your rights
