1. About Upfront
Upfront is a peer-to-peer marketplace that enables users in the United Kingdom to buy and sell used golf equipment. The platform is operated by Upfront (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or mobile application you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United Kingdom to create an account and transact on Upfront.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details or allow others to access your account.
4. Listings and sales
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including item descriptions, condition, and photographs. Upfront provides AI-powered valuations as guidance only and does not guarantee any particular sale price.
5. Fees
Listing items on Upfront is free. A 12% commission is deducted from the sale price when a transaction completes. This fee covers payment processing, buyer protection, and platform operation costs.
6. Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Seller payouts are initiated once the buyer confirms receipt of the item. Upfront does not store credit card details.
7. Prohibited items
You may only list golf equipment and related accessories. Counterfeit goods, stolen items, and items not related to golf are prohibited.
8. Limitation of liability
Upfront acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not liable for the condition, quality, or authenticity of items sold through the platform, though we strive to resolve disputes fairly.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
